Hey everyone, This morning The java development team has released a new release candidate for the upcoming 1.21.2 which will be adding bundles which gives an indication of this drop to release tomorrow as expected.
Tomorrow, Mojang will be releasing their first game drop “Bundles of Bravery” adding bundles and hardcore mode for bedrock edition. After many weeks of testing it is ready to ship and should be releasing tomorrow. Also PlayStation 5 users will be getting a dedicated PS5 version of Minecraft with this update.
In todays Release candidate changelog they have said as long as they dont find any other issues that it will be released to everyone later this week although bedrock will definitely be getting it tomorrow depending if the java team finds an issue they may push the final release to be later with bedrock.
And note that in 1.21.2 on Java will have the winter drop features as an experimental feature but bedrock will not. It is currently in testing in the 1.21.50 betas right now but next month we should see 1.21.50 release with the new winter drop features as an experimental feature.
