Hey everyone its been a huge week for Minecraft players and hive players so today I want to talk about some news and when to expect more game drops to Minecraft.
On Wednesday, Mojang finally released the new pale garden and creaking to bedrock preview which is super exciting to see and the bundles of bravery drop is done and is expected to release October 22nd.
And today the hive finally released their seasonal Halloween event Hive-o-Ween adding a reskinned hub as well as the hive sign. There is a hub hunt as usual where you have to find ingredients in the hub and microhubs and put them in the cauldron and finding all 13 gives an exclusive costume. And as always Ghost invasion is back for a limited time and Murder mystery has the book of souls enabled. as well as themed lobbies and soon some new bedwars maps were also announced to come soon for the event.
Next update will be the region agnostic update which i think will be releasing once the event is over.
Now i want to talk about Mojang’s schedule for game drop and when to see Minecraft live next year.
This month we will be seeing the bundles of bravery drop and then the next one will be released in the winter as Mojang has confirmed it will be released within the winter. Meaning we are seeing a new game drop every 2 months or so. Meaning the next game drop is expected to release around February. However I do not expect a Minecraft live to announce that game drop as I expect the first game drop of 2025 to be a smaller game drop which Mojang would not find worthy to announce at a Minecraft live.
Meaning i expect the first Minecraft live to be around End of february/Beginning of march to announce the Easter game drop this seems like a perfect schedule as march is the end of Q1 and then their going to release it in April as this is around the time Spring break starts and Easter starts so that way Developers can take a bit of a break and then go release a minor game drop in June.
I then expect around the end of June/Beginning of July to announce the next major game drop at Minecraft live to be the Summer/Fall drop which would release in August then in October they would release another minor game drop. Then around the end of October/Beginning of November to have another MC Live to announce the next major game drop which would be another winter drop.
If my theory is correct then Mojang is a genius for doing this as it will help their younger audience well to still keep the game alive throughout the year And hope this is somewhat close to their plan. If correct we would see some more minor game drops then major ones as major ones being in April, August, and December.
This is not official information but is what i am currently expecting so take this with a grain of salt but is definitely a possibility. I hope you guys have an amazing weekend and see you all in next week’s issue.
