Hey everyone, Hope ya’ll had an amazing week. This week has been wild with the new Minecraft movie trailer and some hive updates and some hive leaks as well.
Let’s talk about the most talked topic, The minecraft movie. On wednesday, Warner Brothers posted the trailer for and boy it has got some attention receiving more views than the sonic movie 3 trailer with almost a million dislikes. The reason people are disliking it is due to some of the character design mainly the animals being a little weird looking and hating on it. This has just been a mess online and saying it is the worst trailer and is the ugly sonic situation over again.
I personally like them and Mumbo Jumbo explained since he was invited by Warner Brothers to see the sets and other creators like DanTDM. Mumbo explained that the animals are supposed to look silly to give the message that this is a silly movie and how they interpret them from minecraft to the cinema. This is their imagination in the imaginative game Minecraft, so people need to not take it too seriously. I do not see anything wrong with the animals i personally love them and look and act funny in the trailer. However it is possible Warner Brothers could Fix the situation but we have no idea right now. People are also complaining that it is live action and prefer it animated. The reason it is not animated is because the movie is supposed to be like the new modern version of the Live action jumanji movies where people from the real world get sucked into the game “MINECRAFT” and because the movie is being developed by Warner Brothers they want to make it that Jumanji style movie which is the reason it is not animated. Although they could have animated the minecraft part but i think Mojang and Warner Brothers wanted to make the movie feel Real than fake.
Although despite the hate over the trailer, the movie is going to make a ton of money for sure because so many people have played and grew up with minecraft for years and even if they hate the trailer they are going to see the movie no matter what cause their going to be curious on this movie to go see it in theaters. However a lot of people will most likely walk out of the theater and make fun of it to make memes about it.
Besides the crazy Minecraft movie disaster, Yesterday Hive updated CTF as a mini update introducing new changes, fixes, and adding a new unlock category of Armor trims. So some quality of life was added to the game.
And just over an hour ago they have added new hub cosmetics being a new pet, some new hats, and backblings. and some updates have been leaked?
On their updates site, at the top showing the roadmap it shows in progress there is now a deathrun: Mini Update and a Mini map update to gravity. However, it is not shown on their public roadmap so the hive might have made a mistake of adding that but even if its leaked or not we now know these are in development.
I expect the deathrun update to add some new cosmetics to unlock and to fix some issues and change some things to add some quality of life to the game. And the gravity update will just be a couple new maps.
We can probably see these update around the end of October. And Star Store to release next week as i have been predicting for weeks. So hopefully it now gets released soon they keep delaying it which frusturates me a lot.
