Hello everyone,

I hope you’re having a fantastic week! It’s been an exhilarating time for Minecraft and Hive players, with plenty of exciting news to share. Let’s dive in!

On Wednesday, we received a new snapshot featuring dyable bundles! This is a significant step forward, indicating that bundles are nearing the end of their experimental phase. Earlier this week, on Tuesday, version 1.20.30 was released, introducing bundles as an experimental feature along with various changes and bug fixes aimed at enhancing gameplay, UI, performance, and more. Be sure to check out the changelog.

Wednesday was particularly thrilling with the announcement of Minecraft Live, scheduled for September 28th at 1 PM EST, 12 PM CST, and 10 AM PST. This year, they’re introducing an after show where developers will delve deeper into the updates and showcase new content for the first time. You can catch all the action on their YouTube channel, Twitch, and website.

On Tuesday, The Hive launched five new maps for Gravity, along with some quality-of-life improvements to the leaderboards and gameplay. Today, they released a Deathrun update, introducing minor gameplay enhancements and adjustments to the leaderboards. They mentioned, “We hope this update will make achieving victories in Deathrun easier and more rewarding.” While no new maps are currently in development, they’ll keep us posted. Excitingly, a new Just Build update is on the way, which will support new blocks from version 1.21. I anticipate this will be released next week, given their recent update schedule. Additionally, a new map for Murder Mystery is on the roadmap, likely arriving in a few weeks, just in time for Hive-O-Ween!

It’s certainly been an eventful week for both Minecraft and The Hive communities. What are your predictions for Minecraft Live next week?

Enjoy your weekend, and I’ll see you all next week!

Best,
Rashed
