Hey Everyone, Hive’s 2HQ2 (2nd half of quarter 2) Buzz Newsletter just dropped and has something disappointing you may not like. I’ll also discuss some updates about the upcoming MM update.

If you are not aware, hive has released there new issue of the buzz today going over what has happened within the last month and a half. Later on they discuss about the mm update and here is where it gets disappointing.

I was expecting some sort of new information or a teaser of the microhub or LTM instead this is what they said exactly.

As revealed on our roadmap, big changes for Murder Mystery are in the works! The much-loved mode will soon be joining Build Battle and the roster of other minigames with their own dedicated microhubs!

Alongside the microhub, the update will also introduce challenges and a Challenge Merchant, giving you the chance to earn challenge medals to spend on exclusive rewards!

And for the first time since the game's release, a brand-new limited-time mode is on the way! This brand new mode will bring a new twist to everyone's favorite survival game.

There were no images of what to expect. They used images of existing maps but nothing new within them.

There may be a reason why they didn’t share any images on today’s newsletter compared to in April with the Build battle update. They may want to avoid sharing any images as there is a possibility that this update just isn’t ready or just not want to reveal any of it just yet to save the excitement towards the release.

I don’t want to get you all worried that the update isn’t ready but could be a chance there experiencing some issues. They also said in the email of sending some challenge ideas in there discord. They could be stuck with finding challenges for players to do since they are asking for suggestions so could be lacking and this could be the main reason.

Although the Microhub would be an exciting change to see but isn’t hive’s main focus so could be another reason of not sending any images in there newsletter.

Recently I have heard the update would come within the next 2 weeks. Since not much Public details have been announced at this point it could come on July 18th but could release earlier.

I would not be surprised if there is no release date announcement or any updated details until release as no date was announced for the build battle update but they did give some other details about the update 2 weeks after they teased the build battle update so could do something similar. But don’t expect them too.

I Reacted to hive’s newsletter in anger but now am more looking forward for what’s to come with the update so there could be a chance the update takes longer than expected but don’t worry about it just yet. let’s see what hive does in the next 2 weeks.
