Last week, Hive made a huge change to the bridge gamemode and no longer uses Skill based matchmaking and now people have been going crazy in there and lead to some people to be boosting.
A few youtuber such as Biggiscool, Moan YT, and a couple others have reported they were banned for a couple days for boosting. And the hive made a statement on their discord and on twitter here is what clank said on discord, “Those banned for boosting in The Bridge Solos were found to be purposefully and clearly boosting on purpose. We have nothing to gain from 'randomly' banning players. The evidence for all of them is super obvious.” Later he also said, “Purposefully teaming with an alt (an alt, not a stranger), with the alt either permanently standing still or running into the void, across multiple games, is clear and obvious boosting. We're not talking about a handful of rounds. If you think about it for more than a second, you realize we have nothing to gain from banning leaderboard players as we know people will start drama over it. Boosting is against the rules. It was used to gain wins and stats. A rule was broken, we acted on it.”
So seems Biggiscool used an alt to boost although it might also not sure if many others were doing the same thing as well but seems their is something the people that got banned are not telling us so Hive is not in the wrong. They also confirmed he used an alt on twitter here it is, “In the case of the ban you're referring to, the player partied with an functionally AFK alt, and scored repeatedly to win, for a large number of consecutive games. We require verifiable evidence for issued punishments. The evidence in this case is extensive and clear.” Also due to the new change in bridge it allowed people in parties to join which is what he did so he also was not only boosting but essentially "abusing” the change to intentionally boost. I am not going to ramble on my opinions on him but generally am not surprised he does anything to stand out and is the most annoying sweat so do not really care that he is banned but was deserved for what he did even though the ban is temporary.
